Do i need to be a buddhist to receive a Sak Yan?


No, everyone can get a sak yan as long as you follow the Buddhist precepts
and the rules given by the tattoo master.

The tattoos are made by hand with bamboo technique?



Yes we never use machine tools. We use different types of needles for plotting, writing and some renderings, but all tattoos are performed in a traditional way.

Do you chant the mantra and perform blessing at the end of the tattoo?
 
Yes the mantras for the disciple's offering, the blessing of the "kem sak" before tattooing, chanting of the katas during tattooing and the activation after the tattoo are part of the ritual.

How long does it take to make a Sak Yan?

It depends of size and details of the sacred design.

Can i bring my own tattoo design or a design i saw somewhere else?

We only tattoo the sacred designs that have been transmitted to us by our masters or created with their authorization and which belong to our lineage. I am sure that you will find your happiness in the wide selection that we propose.  As we complete our teaching with other ajarns our catalog will be expanded.

Is it possible to modifie the size of the sacred design?

Absolutely. This is a service we offer. We can change the size of the yan according to the body of the disciple or the free space to tattoo for a more harmonious result.

Can i get a sacred tattoo with you at any time?

We live in Pranburi near Hua Hin in Thailand but we travel a lot that is why we only tattoo on appointment. On the other hand for the ritual it is necessary we take care of certain elements of offering in advance.

Can i get more than one tattoo at a time?

It is a chance we are two to tattoo which gives us time to devote to those who desire several yants in a short time. Enjoy!

Is it more painful than a tattoo with machine?

Everyone feels the pain differently, but most people say that sak yan is much less painful than the machine and more peaceful because no noise and no vibration.

There is no burning of the skin. The Sak yan heals also faster. It usually takes 3 to 7 days if you follow the tattoo master's recommendations.

What do i need to do before the tattoo?

Make sure you have not taken any alcohol or anything that could make you bleed
during the tattoo.
Make sure you take a shower before you go to your appointment.
Be sure to respect the dress code: No short pants or clothing that show
all your anatomy
